Pros

Short hours in the summer Air conditioned locations

Cons

Studentnest was very unorgainzed this summer when it came to working with local libraries. Half of the time, no one knew what is happening, the librarians would ask the tutors one thing, and it would just keep ping ponging back and forth. Management was no help with support when parents would ask the tutors questions, as tutors, we didnt know what information to give to the parents either about schedule changes, location changes, who was apart of the program, etc. And Studentnest will call a tutor on their days off, to inquire about scheduling. They gave tutors the choice if they wanted to come into work or not by filling out a spreadsheet if they were available or not.

Pros

I don't think there is any pros of the company. If i can give this company a negative rating, it would have been -5

Cons

They need to have defined structure system. Some managers were okay and understood personal issues and want you to grow. CEO on the other hand want to treat everyone as a slave as he would think that if he is paying them then he owns them. There is NO work-life balance in the company, you were expect to work many hours to finish the work and then the CEO would complain to managers and director about so many hours being billed. CEO expects you to work for free as he doesn't want to pay anyone, also he would delay the payment of worker for months stating that money is not there nor i have any more money. If you don't have anymore money then how come you drive a 100k dollar Tesla. He would also inform everyone to bill the maximum as he wants more money even if the student is not showing up. He just wants to rip off the government for the money. Initially, he would promise you something and then at the end he would state that he doesn't remember promising you anything. I, once heard from an old manager that he won't even fund the employees for christmas party or treats, the manager themself would pay out of their own pockets without any reimbursement.

Pros

Great environment. Managers are great people to work with 98% of the time. Flexible on timings. Gained a lot of experience. Very friendly . Understanding.

Cons

Projects tend to change day to day( Nature of business). Management need to understand needs of staff little more. Limited opportunity to grow, especially once close to managers.
