Pros
Strong bond between colleagues, a lot of them are working together 15+ years. Scope of work and knowledge is very wide and learning curve is steep, for inexperienced SysAdmin this is perfect training ground.
Cons
Nobody tracks your work. Basically, if you don't screw up, you are un-noticed. I found the lack of feedback about my work most unsatisfying . Also, time management is a big issue. There is no issue tracking and it can be frustrating when 5 or 6 developers are pinging you on Slack's PM for different things. Not a lot of room for climbing the corporate ladder. Learn what you do not know, and move on.
