Pros

Generous pay to most, except for those in manufacturing, even those that have been there 20+ years are still struggling to reach market potential. Birthday celebrations and bagel day is a nice touch. I feel like the CEO is trying to make improvements but just can't let go of control.

Cons

Where to begin, first the nepotism is ridiculous. Upper management cannot remove themselves from their personal lives enough to make proper company and employee related decisions based on what their spouse, cousin, father, or son says at home. Management needs to trust their employees to make decisions instead of micromanaging. And perhaps try training your employees instead of throwing them in the lions den and expecting them to perform to your unreasonable standards. The previous reviewer was correct, that management "asks" employees to write positive reviews to boost their rating and try to create a false sense of happiness to its prospective employees and job applicants.

Pros

Amazing associates who honestly try every day to improve Quality Assurance Hardware & Software related to Radiation Oncology. The new Manufacturing/Production Facility is fantastic.

Cons

Twenty layoffs (really firings since these people will not be asked back if things get better) in February 2015 because the company grew too fast and now the operating expenses are exceeding sales. The individual departments never had budgets and now there is the realization that after spend spend spending there need to be cuts. To meet budget cuts, projects will be abandoned which will lead to more layoffs. Currently there is a fundamental distrust of anyone in management (middle all the way to sr.) and the feeling that the associates are being lied to regarding future firings and the health of the company. In an attempt to stop the freefall of morale the CEO & HR Mgr have scheduled 25 person employee roundtables where they will try to collect info & understand why things have gotten so bad. I highly doubt that people will truly share how they feel when there is zero anonymity and the high likelihood of whatever criticism getting back to the associates individual dept mgt. This leads to people filtering their opinions, not speaking out, and the time spent will be wasted for all parties involved.
