      Pros

      Editors are pretty hands-off, allow reporters to work at own pace. They like interesting stories. Lots of opportunities to get on front page.

      Good paper gone down the tubes

      Pros

      The Sun Sentinel was a growing, thriving, expanding paper when I joined the staff but due to the dying industry the quality of the product has plummeted.

      Cons

      All of the experienced reporters have been laid off or left for greener pastures and what's left are young, inexperienced staff who will work for peanuts. Paper is moving out of Ft, Lauderdale and won't even have a presence in the city it covers.
