Pros

Branding, mission statement. Sunday Goods is seen as the “top shelf” in cannabis as far as look & feel

Cons

They’re over spread and the market doesn’t show a need for Sunday goods any longer. Constant product inventory & quality issues. Financial issues with concern of “can we pay employee pay checks”... they’ve laid off quite a bit during the holidays and after yet still struggle. The communication of these issues to the employees is not clear.

Pros

Amazing to work with educated individuals who have a clear understanding of the cannabis industry. People who are passionate at what they do and the work they put in.

Cons

This company is beginning to fall apart at the seams. They have terminated over 90% of their staff due to poor money management. The Pharm in Willcox is not producing quality flower to then allow wholesale to sell. December was a horrible month in sales due to lack of flower. The lab has gotten new managers who are producing distillate which in reality they should focus on producing enough flower to support opening their first brick and mortar store, 1616. The dispensary has been planning to open for over 3 years and finally the construction is completed and BOOM the opening of the dispensary gets pushed back indefinitely. How?! How are we poorly producing product? How are we not able to employ more than 18 people at HQ and 6 employees in LA?! This company has completely screwed vendors out of their money who fronted our e-commerce team. It’s insane. Do not work for this company!

Pros

Discounts for cannabis if you decide to participate.

Cons

The worst management I have ever experienced at any part of my career. The human resources department is the worst group, as they can't process the most menial tasks. The CEO allows his favorites to get paid for PTO they do not have. Budget management is an abject failure. Due to this failure, your peers will fight for their jobs by throwing you under the bus; you never know when you will get the ax if the CEO doesn't like you. Trust does not exist amongst anyone here, and it starts at the top with the CEO and his favoritism culture, while also thinking he is much more capable than he actually is. The only thing that would make this company grow is cannabis becoming federally legal, and a large company with great structure can buy this CEO out, along with the rest of his favorite failures. Until then, Sunday Goods will never grow to it's full potential. Steer clear of this dumpster fire.
