Employees have to initial every paragraph of a bizarre set of rules. These are things like "Please don't chew gum at work." They're weird and insulting to adults.
They call you to get all your personal info after looking legit. Have you sign some kinda proper contract. Then Text only is they way they communicate. They want your SSN, copy Photo ID front and back, access to your ID.me. They want to give you check but only if your bank has physical branch. Because if it doesnt then take too long to process then gets found out its a fraud.
