Systems Personnel is one of the top Staffing Agencies in Western New York with a great reputation and over 20 years of experience. Basically, we help companies find great employees they can't find on their own & we help people get in front of new opportunities they likely wouldn't have access to without us. This is a mission driven company with an experienced staff, all truly dialed in and committed to the mission (Improving Lives Through Employment). Although a challenge, I love the work I am doing. When I go to sleep at night, I know I'm doing something worthwhile, that I'm making a difference in people’s lives, and I’m making over $100k/yr. doing it.
Cons
This is a challenging, fast paced job and is not for everyone. Companies hire us because we actively go out, find, and contact people who are not necessarily in the job market. This is a true "headhunting" type role. That involves a lot of researching, digging, cold calling, emailing, texting, and talking to/meeting with high volumes of people per week. There is a lot of sweat equity that must be put in, you have to be thick skinned, take rejection well, and be self-motivated with strong work ethic. This is not a 40/hr per week job. At the end of the day, this is a sales role and you will get out of it what you put in. It is extremely rewarding intrinsically and can be very very lucrative if you are willing to put the effort and hours in.
