Pros

- Exposure to a large range of clients - Great location with plenty of restaurants nearby - Great people to work with and learn from (excluding some folks in leadership)

Cons

- Lack of support from management: There is no proper training across all the accounts you work on. You learn as you go but it’s not enough to be successful. I only felt confident on one account and that’s because I received proper training on that specific account from my manager. If this is one of your first roles out of college, I cannot stress this enough… Stay away! This place does not care about your growth. If you do end up working here have an exit plan. For any employee across all levels, this is not where you want to be long term. Also, management will pretend to care about you when in reality they couldn’t care less. - Poor communication: Management will tell you one thing and mean another. During check ins and connects managers will not clearly communicate their expectations. Leadership will talk behind your back but not express their concerns to you directly. - Not great work/life balance: Frequently found myself working on the weekends preparing for the week ahead. Managers and supervisors on my team worked over time often. It’s evident that the employees are overworked and underpaid. Mangers, supervisors and directors are stressed and don’t have enough support and it trickles down to the entry level employees. I felt the weight and stress very early on and it contributed to the decline of my health. I can recall a time where I was chatting with another entry level employee in the kitchen during lunch and they told me “I miss the days when I could take my lunch. I skip lunch or just eat at my desk and work.”

Pros

I genuinely love the work I get to do at TBC. The projects are meaningful, creatively challenging, and always evolving, which keeps things exciting!! The client work really stands out. There’s so much passion across the board, and I get to collaborate with some of the most talented, creative, thoughtful people I’ve ever worked with. Everyone takes pride in what they do, and that energy is contagious. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and just really well-balanced. People care not just about the work, but about each other doing well. It’s the kind of environment that makes you want to do your best, because everyone else is doing the same. There are great perks, too, wellness initiatives, happy hours, and chances to give back through community work, which all contribute to a workplace that feels rewarding in every way. It’s the kind of job that makes you look forward to signing on/going into the office. I feel lucky to be here.

Cons

I haven’t experienced any real cons personally, just the usual day-to-day challenges that come with doing work you care about.
