Pros

- Thirsty Thursday - Young environment

Cons

Looking for a career in a trendy Toronto agency? 1. Want to be over worked and under paid? Then this agency is the agency for you! 2. Sick and tired of management treating you like a human being? Well sign the dotted line and we will assign you a number! 3. Is honesty not your best policy? Great!! Because neither is THP's. 4. Feel like you're ready for a good cry? We guarantee you will cry yourself to sleep, alone in the bathroom, or in the arms of a kind stranger at least once a week! 5. Do you miss your ex who played mind games? You don't need them! This is considered an added on bonus at THP! 6. Don't know what to do with all of that confidence? We put all of our employees on a rigorous ego diet. Little to no positive feedback will have you second guessing your life choices in no time! 7. Annoyed by tedious HR protocol? Not to worry! There's nobody you could talk to even if you wanted to. There's more than a few reasons why people are turning to Glassdoor; asking your employees during a town hall meeting to give you positive reviews-- including writing your own, won't solve anything.

Pros

Opportunity to grow Opportunity to work with great people in many departments Opportunity to experiment creatively Around beautiful food/images all day Free food!

Cons

Unfair wages/constantly looking for ways to undercut creatives Poor management Upper upper management treats employees like nameless underlings and will shun you openly if you can't meet unreasonable deadlines, file any complaints (from workplace safety, to bullying/harassment), and refuse to look at you or speak with you once you quit, even if it was on the best of terms. After reporting a long term bullying incident was told that my being bullied by a colleague for several months was normal, I shouldn't take it seriously, and colleague is "just like that." Unsafe working conditions (electrical etc.) Not support or protection of employees (from clients, other colleagues, or in terms of mental/physical health and well being) Public portfolio prohibited - no way to showcase any work Poor morale, no HR Change your job description depending on need, pressure you to obey Terribly short deadlines and incredibly high expectations Understaffed

Pros

Thirsty Thursday and that is it

Cons

- Cheap and secretive - they prefer it if you not ask questions (No training program, No sick days, No eye coverage, Dental kicks in after 6 months) - Sweatshop mentality - base salary is low for the work they want you to do (9 hour shift 30 minute break....which i may add is illegal!!!) They want to squeeze every drop of work out of you, NO SICK DAYS - No eye coverage (which is sad when you look around the room and atleast 1/3 of your coworkers are wearing glasses) - Micro management - No dedicated HR rep, never seen this in my life so good luck getting your issues addressed - Very archaic mentality, atmosphere and rules in the guise of a start up - Low Morale - Alot of cliques and gossip - A big lack of males and minorities (which is strange for a so called equal opportunity employer) - They try to gouge clients at every turn - Encouraged to post fake positive reviews on glassdoor
