Incredible Team, Inspiring Leadership, and Unforgettable Experience

Pros

TRX is home to an exceptional team, from the employees to the senior leadership. Working alongside such talented and passionate individuals was a true privilege, and I’m grateful for the lasting connections I formed, many of which I hope will remain for years to come. Having the Founder actively involved in daily operations is a rare and inspiring experience, and it was an honor to witness the growth of his legacy firsthand. TRX also boasts some of the most remarkable female leaders I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and the company’s commitment to diversity stands out in the best way. My time there allowed me to collaborate across all levels of the organization, and I will always treasure those memories.

Cons

While my time at TRX was unexpectedly brief, I believe the company would benefit from fostering a deeper sense of trust with its employees. The team is deeply dedicated to the mission and culture, but constantly needing to prove their value can be discouraging over time.

Toxic Culture from the Top Down

Pros

Friendships formed with coworkers, the employee workouts, and occasional free gifts from partnerships

Cons

I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone who values a respectful, positive, open workplace. Despite claims of fostering a 'healthy culture,' the CEO's leadership style is anything but. He’s a classic narcissist who dismisses employee input, often speaking down to people and running the business with a top-down, ‘my way or the highway’ mentality. Any attempt to raise concerns or point out inconsistencies is met with accusations of being ‘toxic’ or trying to ‘influence’ others — it’s clear he values control over open communication. To make matters worse, the CEO’s wife has an outsized role, often meddling in everyone’s business, making it impossible to trust that your work or privacy is respected. And with HR being handled by someone who seems more interested in pleasing leadership than actually advocating for employees, you’ll find that there’s really no safe space for support. HR operates more like a gossip network, with everything you say quickly making its way up to the CEO through a chain of whispering, where your words are often twisted along the way. One bright spot is the company founder, who genuinely cares about people and the quality of the business.
