      Money-hungry company with lack of culture & values

      Free lunch, social events, benefits, travel.

      Cons

      It's a very cold place to work. It's definitely lacking culture. It takes awhile for people to warm to you. Taboola thinks they are much bigger and well known than they actually are. Does not nurture staff - there's a lot of pressure to know everything about the industry with little training to support this. They don't like it if you ask questions and this is seen as a weakness of your ability to do your job. Bringing in money to the company takes first place above everything else, including its staff. Targets are too high. Some of team leads are inadequate at leading a team.

      Pros

      The London office is fantastic and full of perks. The company is growing pretty fast, and the Yahoo deal is boosting growth and opportunities. Sometimes it's good that people stay there for long

      Cons

      Taboola products for publishers are awful, which affects their relationships with clients because they know it and don't want to deal with you. The team I worked in was toxic, full of micro-management, over-controlling, and zero independence. You are simply a secretary for your director, which makes the work not rewarding at all. There are also many employees who have been there for many years but have barely any clue about how things work outside the company.

      Great Company, but problems become evident with time

      Pros

      - great culture and amazing people - nice perks - generally good vibe in the office - fairly flexible hours as long as you get the job done

      Cons

      - rampant favouritism: no israeli, no promotion. Israeli, we find a job for you. - lots of external hires and no careerpath for established people - decent pay, but very hard to increase. Usually only 3-4% YoY salary increase - talented people are being forced out of the company after 2-3 years, as they can not progress and are being headhunted by other companies
