Pros

Had a great crew to work with the and the average employee is very helpful. I loved helping with the recycling events and working with the company to prosper as a whole but, that is about where it stops being a good job.

Cons

I worked at this company for years and never got promoted and the only reason I or anyone else I knew got a pay raise was because of the new manager wanting to hire people at a higher rate. Now you ask anyone at that company and they will tell you the one person they think contributed more to that company and worked harder than any person you would ever meet at the company and you will know who I am. I regret the choice I made because of the economic situation (I did a no-call-no-show after years of being with the company so they fired me, understandably and i will not make any excuses for it). But, at the same there is no air conditioning in the warehouse where you will spend 9 -6 every weekday. You will see one but it does not turn on unless the CEO wants it on and if you leave a fan on overnight expect to not have one when you come in the next morning. I could barley get the right tools to do my job. While they expect you to do things that are highly dangerous (especially working with bio-hazardous freezers and refrigerators from universities. Ultraviolet light tables watch out for this as I should have probably gone to a doctor after turning one on without proper safety glasses also not provided(they will have you do this with any product that has a power switch and cord). Ive had things catch on fire , spark, smoke, and near explode in my face. I consistently was sandbagged because of my hard work. I watched people I had trained move up in to the front office after introducing a telecom channel that skyrocketed sales and gained many buying clients. I was their number one freight coordinator not only putting in the ads but making sure they were packaged and shipped on time. I stopped going in full time because my responsibilities exceeded they pay. I worked my butt off for this company and learned that I was making the same as someone just hired yesterday that knew nothing of the systems we worked with, didn't have any product knowledge and didn't care about uniformity, seniority, or our companies image. It upset me more to see them put these kind of people in positions that mattered.
