Family owned but growing every year with new franchise opportunities. Free classes! Customer service employees have the opportunity to become instructors with free training.
Cons
Very early morning shifts as classes start as early as 5:30 am. No benefits for part-time employees.

Very intensive training left me feeling very prepared to teach. There is a good amount of continued education for teachers
Cons
The training to become a teacher is incredibly long, which made me feel drained by the time I was able to start teaching. The company has been growing quickly in the last few years and it now seems like the corporate culture is the quantity of studios over the quality of studios. The studios are franchised so as an employee that excels at my job I don't feel like there is any potential for growth in the company on a larger scale. We also have a yearly corporate review of our teaching and studio which from the teaching side of things leaves everyone feeling very down.

The Bar Method provides the best education for its instructors in the fitness industry. Teachers must go through extensive training to pass certification and it's entirely worth it if you love being a student of bar.
Cons
The amount of time and energy you put far outweigh the returns from a financial standpoint. It is NOT designed to satisfy a livable income.
