Pros

Casual work environment, flexible hours.

Cons

Low pay, little to no benefits, questionable business practices. Due to the low pay, the employees have very little experience both in business and with the clientele which leads to huge problems. Operates on the cheap with regards to everything.

Thank you for your review! We appreciate your concern, and compensation is so important to our company; that is by far our biggest expense. The average hourly rate in our company is currently $19.47. Since this is the average there are naturally trainers who make less than this and trainers who make more than this. Many trainers that are on the lower side of the $19.47 average tend to be in certification, which even though the hourly pay for certification is the current minimum wage rate, this is MUCH better than having to pay to get certified like you do with other personal training companies. Furthermore, our compensation is right in line with entry level pay for personal training companies around the country. We want our employees to succeed so our Professional Mastery Program is full of educational materials to make our trainers more knowledgeable and in turn be able to help more people! We believe in rewarding and recognizing our employees for their growth and achievements so this program is only one of many ways to earn bonuses while at the same time becoming a better trainer! There is no cap on how many levels you can advance in this program so opportunities are endless. Other incentives include: Staff Referrals, Client Referrals, and Nutrition Coaching opportunities.

Pros

Nice studios. Pays employees to go through training.

Cons

Poor communication . All throughout my training, coworkers told me I was doing great and were very supportive. They offered good critique in areas were they felt I needed improvement and I worked on it accordingly. I was given the hours I was to work during the week, quit my other job, cancelled non refundable classes, lived off of my savings all in preparation to dedicate myself to this job and was dropped at the last possible minute. Literally, one or two more things to complete and that is when they figured out I was not a good fit for the company. I am not even mad, just totally shocked and confused. I feel insanely foolish for investing so much of my time, money and rearranging my schooling for nothing.

Pros

Flexible schedule. Great clients. Easy workouts for clients.

Cons

They make you think you will be getting paid on average anywhere from 5-10$ more an hour then you really will. Pay averages out to slightly higher than minimum wage including all workouts given + hours from shift.

Thank you for your review! Compensation is so important to our company and is our biggest expense. Our company’s average hourly rate is currently $19.17. Naturally, there are trainers who make less than this and trainers who make more. Many trainers that make the average rate of $19.17 (or more) take advantage of our endless opportunities for advancement and bonuses. Our compensation and benefits are very fair compared to other entry level personal training companies in the country. Furthermore, unlike most other personal training companies, we pay YOU to go through certification.
