Favoritism (first time manager ever initiatively said “good morning” was after I notified about leaving the company, but with other employees it was a very different friendly attitude, first red flag)
Peer pressure into after work events, happy hours, and drinking at 2-3pm on a work day (be prepared to either join drinking/events during or after hours, or be isolated regardless of the potential DUI or other commitments cause you’ll always get asked) second red flag
Managers and employees have no problem chatting about politics, racial, and stereotype topics. (even gotten asked a very racial stereotypical question that was offensive by a manager, third red flag) No racial diversity but advertised as is.
It’s hilarious to see the different treatment from the higher ups if they don’t like you, and it’s “not because of my race”. Sure. It’s ridiculous to have a manager come to you, pull you aside and say “I know everyone’s priorities are different, but the manager’s priority to have everyone join together just so you know (hint hint)”. Also have other coworkers saying “I don’t want to go but I feel like if I don’t go it’s not gonna be good. You should come too”. That’s just too toxic for a professional work place.
