Pros

They have a great reputation in doing work for local governments. They are well known for their engineering department.

Cons

It appears there's no growth for female employees. Female employees are told their potential at the company depends on if they plan to have children.

Pros

Life work balance Knowledgable managers Good pay and benefits Referral bonus

Cons

Favoritism (first time manager ever initiatively said “good morning” was after I notified about leaving the company, but with other employees it was a very different friendly attitude, first red flag) Peer pressure into after work events, happy hours, and drinking at 2-3pm on a work day (be prepared to either join drinking/events during or after hours, or be isolated regardless of the potential DUI or other commitments cause you’ll always get asked) second red flag Managers and employees have no problem chatting about politics, racial, and stereotype topics. (even gotten asked a very racial stereotypical question that was offensive by a manager, third red flag) No racial diversity but advertised as is. It’s hilarious to see the different treatment from the higher ups if they don’t like you, and it’s “not because of my race”. Sure. It’s ridiculous to have a manager come to you, pull you aside and say “I know everyone’s priorities are different, but the manager’s priority to have everyone join together just so you know (hint hint)”. Also have other coworkers saying “I don’t want to go but I feel like if I don’t go it’s not gonna be good. You should come too”. That’s just too toxic for a professional work place.

We are sorry to hear that your time at Timmons Group was not what you expected, but we are glad that you enjoyed your work-life balance, managers, pay, benefits, and bonus structure. However, we know that some experiences can take away from the overall advantages of working for a company, so we’re glad you shared your thoughts for our reference. We especially appreciate your comments on our monthly beverage carts as we usually receive very positive feedback on them. While we do tend to offer alcoholic beverages, we will continue to make certain that sodas, waters, and/or non-alcoholic drinks are also offered. Thanks again for your feedback, as always feel free to reach us directly at hr@timmons.com

Pros

Some great people and managers to work with. Work place is fun. Constant endeavour to bring new changes. Some good projects are always around.

Cons

Company is running low on cash most of the time. A small hit in project may lead to employment termination. Some projects are a bog and people getting caught in those are relinquished.
