Pros

The company has strong brand recognition, but that’s about it.

Cons

Compensation is not competitive, with yearly raises and bonuses remaining minimal or stagnant, despite an increased workload every year. There is a heavy focus on hospitality and leadership training for mid-level and entry-level employees, but this is misplaced. Instead, training should be required for senior management, as they set the tone for the region. Unfortunately, senior management fosters a toxic and unfair work environment, gossiping and showing favoritism. They fail to recognize that having a senior manager/general manager title does not equate to being an effective leader. Growth opportunities are nonexistent, and the work environment is incredibly stressful, with no support from immediate managers. This culture needs serious attention to create a healthier, more equitable workplace.
