Excellent salary, benefits, challenging and engaging work. High performance company.

Cons

Fast paced, demanding environment that's not really employee oriented/focused. Not very flexible with the times. Very much a golden handcuffs situation.

Pros

Pay, benefits, pension and hours are all excellent and very competitive. You actually work so few hours that it is easy to pick up a second job.

Cons

Politics, inefficiencies and toxic culture makes the place unbearable. Unfortunately this negates any pros mentioned above and I would not recommend Toronto Hydro if you want to build a fulfilling career. This place is not what it used to be 25 yrs ago.
