Pros

Working here has been a truly rewarding experience, largely thanks to the incredible team I get to collaborate with every day. The culture is inclusive, respectful, and genuinely supportive. Everyone is willing to lend a hand, share knowledge, and celebrate each other's successes.

Cons

While the team is excellent, the internal processes could use more structure and maturity. Decision-making tends to be slow, and there's often a lack of clarity in how priorities are set and executed. Streamlining these areas would greatly improve overall efficiency and impact.

Pros

Established Market Leader (Lubricants): They've been here for decades with a strong, reliable brand in engine and industrial oils, making them a fixture in the market. A Major Energy Provider (LNG): They play a critical role in Taiwan's energy security by reliably supplying much-needed Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). Leading the Green Shift (Renewables): They are one of the key international players heavily investing in Taiwan's offshore wind sector (like the Yunlin project), actively supporting the country's energy transition goals. Bringing Global Expertise: The local team benefits from their parent company's massive international technical know-how in energy and complex projects.

Cons

Limited Customer Reach: Unlike in Europe, they don't have gas stations here, which limits their consumer visibility and direct interaction outside of B2B oil and gas deals. High-Cost, High-Risk Renewables: Offshore wind is incredibly capital-intensive and complex; project delays or technical issues can lead to significant financial setbacks. Commodity Price Exposure: Their LNG and oil-based products are still vulnerable to global price swings, which makes local business planning challenging. Reputational Challenge (Global vs. Local): While their local BU is green, they still face the global image problem of being an oil major, which can complicate public perception and partnerships.

Pros

Incredible team with a lot of diversity in mindset and objectives, good paid leave and 'comfort' benefits.

Cons

As a large group, it will have a bit more process and meetings than a traditional SOC.
