Ky Telco is very sales driven. The company has a sales goal that every teller and loan officer must meet every month in order to keep their job. They are very strict about this referral goal. It's like working for a car lot in the sense that it is all about selling. You could be the best employee in the world, however, if you don't meet your sales goal you will be let go.

It was great that they wanted to work towards a more positive environment, but the way they were approaching it was not good. People worried that they would be let go if they said one thing wrong. Many departments ran short staffed, with people being pulled from everywhere to cover teller line and call center. Very strong sales culture, which is fine, but I don't feel like people were properly trained and nurtured to do their best and to help them advance.
