Pros

I learned a lot when I started and I loved the environment. Boy did that go downhill real fast once all the wrong executives were hired.

Cons

The environment is toxic and upper management doesn't care about you, all they want is their high salaries and to run it into the ground. I feel bad for the CEO because he let it become this and no has nowhere to turn. I was promised a raise for 6 months and never got one! They lie and they don't keep their promises. If you have the chance to leave I would do it now before you are a part of losing a team and sink with the ship. As people got hired I asked them simple questions about the industry and they drew a blank stare. That's what upper management hired and brought to the table, absolutely awful and incompetent people. Hmm, what else - oh yeah! The company is bleeding money and just wants to do business with all the big customers, but they forget one simple factor - CUSTOMER SERVICE! Talk about a company who has an all-time low in that category. There is no turning back now enjoy the slow decline and when you all want a job I will not be answering your messages. The technology is FAKE NEWS! They work on projects that make little to no sense for the growth and future of the company. To be honest, I spent over 2 years there and so the technology only get worse, yet all the executives made more and more money. Please explain that and no I don't want someone to reply to this and lie to me! I was lied to for 2 years! Moral of the story - it started great and ended poorly! the only good thing that company still has going and will have until the doors close are the people inside. Sorry, let me change that - the people who work their tails off and get nothing in return! Leave the dump and go make some real money where people care what and how you think and feel. Peace out Transfix! Happy to no longer be a part of you.

Pros

They used to have perks, but those were slowly removed as the hard times came. Not much is expected of you, so no one will bother you on nights and weekends.

Cons

After working at Transfix, I realized that a company is doomed when there is a lack of (1) trust (2) respect (3) vision. Transfix has none of these. Problems go un-addressed indefinitely, and anyone who dares speak up is ignored, undermined, shamed, or demoted by management. Real questions and critique are routinely discouraged. It's a culture of shear fear and forced obedience. New ideas from front-line team members are disparaged. All changes are passed from top on down, with no input from subordinates, who are treated like sweatshop workers, expected to just shut up and work. The product and technology are woefully defective and behind the times, yet any attempts to address this are met with hostility from leadership, shut down with a childlish lack of professionalism. Transfix has no intention of actually innovating. Competitors are years ahead, and the gap is yawning. There is no roadmap to create anything interesting; work is a matter of just keeping the lights on, in the hopes that some acquirer, big customer, or investor will inject more money to keep the sham going. I feel bad for people still there, but perhaps there is a type of person who could succeed, if they just want to collect a paycheck, not work that hard, and just take orders.

Transfix Response

It is certainly surprising and disappointing to read a comment like this, as it does not reflect who we strive to be as an organization. We also believe, based on our regular employee engagement surveys, that it does not reflect the sentiment of the vast majority of our employees,. While we certainly don’t agree with the comments, we appreciate this person’s right to have their own perspective and regret that they feel this way. We work hard to cultivate an environment where every employee has a great experience and can succeed in their role. Individual growth and innovation are at the forefront of everything we do here at Transfix, and we take feedback very seriously. If the author of this review would like to reach out to me directly about their experience or with any suggestions / advice on how we can continue to improve, I encourage them to do so!
