Pros

- There are very talented people working at Transmission, particularly in the Creative team - The office is lovely and you get free snacks! - Most people are genuinely nice and friendly

Cons

- Not great leadership - my previous manager didn't care to check on us and over promised a L&D budget... we never got any L&D - If you are in Operations, do not expect any career progression - There are too many egos in Transmission and after reporting bullish behaviour from specific people, nothing changed. Some people really abuse their power / influence...

Be aware. Poor culture, leadership, and respect. (UK office)

Pros

A lovely location and office space. Non-management employees are amazing. Made life-long connections.

Cons

Please be aware of the nature of working at Transmission. Poor leadership and cultural values. From highly inappropriate internal relationships, to offensive and inappropriate office behaviour, working at Transmission shocked me on a daily basis. I noticed a lot of bullish behaviour from senior management which noticeably impacted various teams. After reporting such behaviour (numerous times), nothing was done about it as there was a clear layer of protection for those at the top. There is a serious problem regarding respect. They claim they "support" employees mental well-being, however, their bullying-styled leadership suggests otherwise. Senior leadership has no accountability of how their line-managers treat others. They would rather make an employee redundant instead of facing the real issues. A highly immoral place to work. To add - the redundancies over the past year haven't been handled with any ethics or professionalism. It's mentioned that time, effort, and money has gone into building upon Transmission's culture, however, in my opinion, it takes great leadership to build an amazing work culture, not money, and certainly not sweeping bullish behaviour under the rug to protect them. There's a real blame culture at Transmission. Unfortunately, this filters down throughout the company from the very top. I would not recommend working at Transmission. Please, don't be fooled by the "fun" online social media presence. It's forced "fun" for socials.

Thank you for your review. We read through any feedback we receive here and value all the information which can help us to continuously improve our company culture. We take seriously all internal complaints and we encourage employees to use our grievance procedure to raise any inappropriate behaviour they’ve seen or experienced themselves. We always strive to listen to all sides involved when we deal with disputes between employees and to reach the most objective resolution. We are sorry to hear that you didn’t receive the outcome you expected, but it is difficult to comment any further without any specific context. We agree with you that we are very lucky to have such an amazing bunch of employees at Transmission. We believe that people are a huge part of our culture and we would like everyone to be part of social events which we organise on a regular basis, but we never force people to have fun. The leadership team is committed to create opportunities for our employees to get together and embrace the company culture in the best possible way. We thank you again for your feedback and we wish you all the best for the future! Transmission People Team (EMEA)

Pros

nice people and nice office.

Cons

some teams are favoured more than others. people get ahead if they're friends with certain people, if you're not "in the know" then you're overlooked for promotions
