Pros

Free bad coffee Very good no-deductible no-cost health insurance The workload is manageable for the first few months.

Cons

Pay is below industry average as other reviewers have noted, about 10 years behind in my opinion. The office politics and conflicts between the upper level employees/managers are incredibly unprofessional and toxic. Everyone you get to know and enjoy working with will inevitably quit or be fired. The employees that remain here long term either hide (close to retirement) to stay off radar or have been throwing everyone else under buses for years to get ahead. If you're a good worker you will be given the majority of your coworkers workload when they quit/are fired, with no reward for your effort, pay or otherwise. Management still thinks you should lick their boots because they were kind enough to give you a job, even though it's 2022 and everyone has healthier, higher paying options, they'll never retain any young employees. Consider any other option, I should have listened to the bad reviews, they were all accurate. New reviews are being made by HR which is against Glassdoor policy... ask yourself if a good workplace would have to do that.

Horrible Company

Pros

People below management are great people who genuinely care about the company.

Cons

Strongly recommend to steer clear of this place - there are no skills you will learn nor opportunity for growth. You will pick up bad habits and have to deal with some ridiculous office politics. Company is not/has not been doing well and will sell off soon after CEO is gone. - Upper Management - Zero Business strategy - Poor compensation, absolutely under market rates for medical devices by at least 20% - Sick days are earned as part of accumulated PTO - Directionless business - CEO always has new pet projects but doesn't get valid monetary commitments - HR is joke - Company believes it does things the 'right way', it absolutely does not and is likely going to get audited pretty heavily in the future - most DHFs are missing key documents. - Anyone who is in an management position has been at the company for 15+ years or got their start with the company, it's bad. - Processes are antiquated and bad which is evident in the fact they can work with no outside companies in development.

Avoid At All Cost

Pros

The benefits are paid for although they plan is not that great. The time off is good but you accrue hours. It works out to be 5-6 hours PTO for every 2 weeks worked. So if you have an emergency when you are first hired, you have to take time without getting paid.

Cons

This was by far the worst company I have ever worked for. The culture around the work place is dreadful. Departments are pitted against each other and management is aware and lets it happen. Upper management is disorganized and uninformed. The turn over rate is so high almost half the staff was lost over a year period. There is no going to HR because the person in charge is the CEO's ex-husband. Raises are non-existent and there are no incentives. New ideas are shot down which makes it hard to stay motivated. Unless you really need work, I would try and find another place of employment.
