Pros

Updated technology for remote work use. Kind and hardworking employees.

Cons

CEO is mistrusting of employees and is solely focused on ways to generate income despite the negative repercussions her decisions have on the staff. The CEO also promises clients project deliverables that cannot realistically be met with the actual staff and resources available. COO is emotionally unstable, unprofessional and routinely openly screams and swears at employees. Leadership is mistrusting of employees and routinely speaks negatively about the performance of both current and former staff (the majority of the staff are working to the best of their ability but just have too many projects). There is no work/life balance (this is due to the high employee turnover rate/lack of staff). There is no systematic training programs in place and you receive spotty, partial and rushed training at best.

1.0 stars I would not recommend this company to anyone. Curious that there are kind and hard working employees but then there are 2 people the CEO and COO who ruin everything. I love being a CEO, but I only have direct contact with 3-5 employees as direct reports. I wish I could say that I was all powerful and creating this level of havoc, but its simply not true because if I was I would be a tornado or force of nature that no one could stop. Often times I think when CEOs for example are blamed its because its easy to be their fault. At the end of the day the buck stops there. Thats true for me, I hold myself at the highest level of accountablity. But I shouldn't hold myself to a level of accountability above everyone's standards for themselves. A team in 2023 at TR and why I love it so much, is that I get to be a part of it, a human with mistakes and great ideas and I am treated like everyone else. I love that, its a relief to be an environment where we all feel included. I hope you feel included where you are and you know that you are special.

Pros

Remote Work is the only thing I can think of..

Cons

Where do I start.. I don't usually put a lot of thought into Glass Door reviews and I've never felt the need to write one, but please pay attention to the 1* reviews to save yourself from the terrible experience so many others have had. Trial Runners doesn't care about the Quality of their work, just perception. I hope they make significant changes. From my experience they make everything appear wonderful for both employees and new clients/sponsors and as the relationship progresses you come to understand that not all that glitters is gold. So many promises are made only to never be delivered. Don't come into this company thinking you can make positive change. Executive leadership is stuck in their ways and can become incredibly hostile - yelling and cussing at employees. I have never been part of such a chaotic and unprofessional organization. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. The ship is already sinking, let it go down. If you are reading this and you already work at TR, get out.. before the place is gone. Only the executive team deserves to be stuck in this mess of their own creation. As another review stated, the honeymoon phase is over fast and you'll realize the terrible mistake you made in coming here very soon.

Listen to the 1 star reviews. Thank you for the good advice, I do treasure all feedback and especially when someone takes extra time to put into this review when they normally don't like you mentioned. I appreciate that. I think where things spin a little out of control on your review is the announcement of a future that is going down like a ship. It never did. I realize that when things are dismal there is comfort to jump ship knowing its going done and I don't blame you for doing that. But as you ran for the hills for something else, those that remained and carried on grew where they were planted including me. Life isn't fair, but there was a lot more going on then one executive an ruin. I am sorry but everyone has choices on how to behave, despite numerous 1 star ratings I have received on behalf of the company I started and as me as the CEO, I don't feel like you or anyone else is ruining anything. Thats my choice; so there is one difficult person you worked with, there will always be one difficult person you work with haha. My understanding of humanity has grown since this post, towards myself, towards my team, towards my client, towards sites and towards patients. There is power in coming together when times are tough not falling a part and abandoning those that need support most because they are imperfect. I didn't really learn this valuable lesson from posts like this or actually professional experiences I learned it from being a foster parent. Don't judge the person by the struggle because we all have them. I hope you have had rewarding experiences since this post that have painted your life as brilliantly as mine, we would love to have you come back. 2023 is an incredible TR year - we are in our hey day!

Pros

I can’t think of any

Cons

CEO is so insecure in her position that she has to constantly remind the staff that SHE is the CEO and owner. Way too involved in the day to day. No structure. A lot of gossip. Terrible work place environment.

1.0 star worst company I have ever worked for....wait a second tell me how you really feel and dont sugar coat it this time!! haha. Again nothing positive to say, is a negative reflection on you. As humans we have to always have something positive to say for example I don't like what you wrote but I am really happy you wrote it, you deserve to be heard and if this is the best place for you to do that, I am super glad you did. You deserve to feel empowered to give your opinion anytime anywhere including those that you have about me. I hope you have happy days and are doing better then you could have dreamed because you are participating in a clear company structure, you are not gossiping and you are not contributing to a terrible work place environment. That is how we care about you for a lifetime - we wish you much success. Cheers
