Pros

Coworkers and the agreement of the dislike of the company. Met some nice and interesting people along the way. Tried to help businesses succeed.

Cons

I am sad to say this job started out great and ended as an absolute nightmare. Micro management to the worse degree. Unfair goals and commission structures. Focus more on quantity over quality. Didn't listen to customers needs and sold only what needed to be sold at that time for a special product or section. Management didn't listen to the reps and people actually in the day to day roles. People were constantly being made to cry and become angry and no one would do anything about it. Many top reps left or want to leave and they will continue to lose revenue if things do not change. The managers in current roles are "yes mans" and do not care about their clients or their employees.

Pros

Great co-workers, cool location, downtown

Cons

-too many cooks in the kitchen, minimum of 8 managers for sales for about 20 sales reps -lack of consistency in management, left hand never knows what the right hand is doing -sales training is archaic -method of doing business is shady and old school, they'll take an order with phone/verbal approval -take away commissions if year over year isn't met. ALL other up to date media companies bonus you if you make year over year, they don't take your rightfully owned commissions away. -management style is old fashioned and backwards -they're about their selling agenda and products not about what the client needs -you have to pay for your own parking -they don't get it and do not know what they're doing

Pros

Met some really good people but most of them have left as I did.

Cons

SALES PEOPLE BEWARE!!!! Management was very unethical to the point of one of my insertion orders be placed on the wrong persons desk for a sale that I had solicited and our manager told the rep to keep it knowing full well the account belonged to me. When I confronted the other rep about it I was told that our manager said for that rep to keep it knowing that it was my account and I was being goaled on it from the previous year. What kind of manager does that to one of her reps? Enough said - right! Favoritism is so very apparent. Just don't do it. Not worth the headache.
