Pros

The 5 dollar wawa gift card christmas bonus we get!

Cons

Very weak pay! No pension. Lowest paid utility in every direction you go. They preach safety but dont want to pay a wage reasonable enough to retain the most talented, trained, and experienced employees. If I were the general public I'd be concerned. Upper management is still way out of touch with its workforce. Most lower level management will tell you flat out your easily replaceable. Problem is if everyone gets replaced constantly no one is going to know what to do in an emergency. This is not the place to come to. We've lost at least 40 guys in the last 5 years and still they refuse to pay us more. Financially it's not worth putting your life on the line, stay away.

Pros

My experience with UGI Utilities has been outstanding. In a short period of time, I was able to expand my role and responsibilites with the support of my Manager. The Executive Team at UGI Utilities is approachable, committed and engaged to make improve the culture and happiness of the employees. Opportunity is there for those that seek it.

Cons

Difficulties breaking old habits and convincing legacy employees that change is positive.
