I worked at UPS full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Keep fit and interact with loads of different people everyday and if you’re lucky you might even meet a famous person on your route.

    Cons

Not anything to put here but everyones experience is different.

    Advice to Management

Nothing to advise as didn’t interact with many and the ones I did were helpful and happy to help.

I worked at UPS full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

Excellent pay. Pension. Pay rise every year. Good stability. Good holiday entitlement that rises with longer service. Lovely colleagues to work with.

    Cons

Management are complete bullies. The pressure put on employees to achieve unrealistic targets is horrible and employees are treated as just a number. The money is very good but the stress isn’t healthy and if in that environment long enough you will crack. They micromanage departments and performance is all stat based - it’s all about productivity and what is calculated possible on a spreadsheet with no regard for employees...

    Advice to Management

Stop using bully tactics to get the best out of staff, try using people skills instead.

I have been working at UPS full-time for more than 9 years

      Pros

Nice colleagues. Good wages Nice location

      Cons

Not family flexible. If you are off because your son is poorly, you will not get paid and get hauled into the office for a review. Not a fair company in regard to part time employees or employees with families. Very clicky. You have a call length target and you are expected to solve complex issues within 3 minutes or get questioned on it. Penalised if you are 10 seconds late but they r happy for you to spend 5/10 mins...
