I have been working at UPS full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Nice colleagues.
    Good wages
    Nice location

    Cons

Not family flexible. If you are off because your son is poorly, you will not get paid and get hauled into the office for a review. Not a fair company in regard to part time employees or employees with families. Very clicky. You have a call length target and you are expected to solve complex issues within 3 minutes or get questioned on it. Penalised if you are 10 seconds late but they r happy for you to spend 5/10 mins after shift without the time back

I have been working at UPS part-time

    Pros

The work is not too difficult.

You will find people you get along with because of high staff turnover.

There are a few perks across the year such as food on special nights.

The company endorse charities of your choice.

    Cons

The environments are tired and equipment is unsatisfactory for the job.

Progression, locally, is difficult as not many opportunities open up unless you are willing to relocate nationally/internationally but you can't tell if this will be possible as pay is not stipulated on job adds.

Management conflict can be visible and inappropriate at times.

    Advice to Management

Stop pushing each other under the bus to self develop, it makes your subordinates fear you but that makes them reset working at the company.

"Worst company ever. Had to fight for wages owed. UK CEO got senior HR to sort it out. Liars, sneaks and bullies"

    Cons

Manager, supervisors and HR haven’t got a clue

    Advice to Management

Don’t accuse workers of horrible acts as a defence when you have been caught out Steve. Dirty sneaky bully boy manager.

    I worked at UPS full-time

    Pros

Friendly and supportive co-workers. New warehouse and comfortable canteen etc.

    Cons

They pay minimum wage and do not want to pay for overtime, employees are let to come in later next day instead. However, from my experience, it was only negative side.
