Pros

1- nice colleagues like family 2- salary quite comparable with other private universities 3- good for new academicians

Cons

1- very low salary increment like 0.5% for all staff. Same increment if you score 90% and 70% marks. 2- senior academicians do not want to do any other tasks except teaching. They like to give comments but not actions taken. 3- young academicians also like to quit from their management position because no benefits to hold the position. 4- no counter offer for talented staff that want to resign. They like to hire new staff who do not have experience other than promote talented staff. So at the end most of the talented staff will resign. 5- need to do a lot of tasks to generate income but senior academicians just relax and enjoy their salary. 6- Claim for staff is paid in more than 3-6 months.

Pros

The company offers a good salary scheme, with reasonable monthly allowances and benefits (medical, optical/dentical). The annual leave given is sufficient and you have can request a few hours of time-off per month, so this is quite convenient if you would like to go on a holiday (as long as you plan ahead). Colleagues and superiors are also generally friendly and supportive.

Cons

Unrealistic individual/group work targets makes it very frustrating to work; being repeatedly forced to sideline my actual duties to perform/finish ad hoc tasks means that I am expected to work outside of office hours. This affects my work-life balance, because I am expected to work extra hours in the evening/on without O/T. While I support the objectives of this company, there is just too much work to be done, and not enough time, resources, and manpower to do so.
