Pros

Ability to work remotely from a home office. Decent medical benefits. Some coworkers experienced and professional. Travel to places in US and international.

Cons

Worked 7 days a week for no reward or thanks. No pay for weekend travel. Project managers over worked and just passed the problem to the lowest person, the facility assessors. Marketing staff sold jobs without a realistic understanding of the scope, took their bonuses and had no further accountability. Minimal 401k matching. No training for new software or methodology. No time allocated for same.

Pros

Good location, Some very talented people

Cons

Management seems more concerned with achieving their bonus goals than improving the business and their bonuses are not designed to improve the company, Lots of in fighting, Departments are pitted against each other, No career advancement, besides developers and engineers, below market salaries, no reimbursement for trade certifications or education
