Pros
Worked here for 10+ years first as a consultant and then as a FTE. Enjoyed working across the organization with sales, engineering, and management. Good compensation, excellent benefits, open and friendly work environment.
Cons
Personal growth was an issue, which was why I left. I had really enjoyed working there but felt I had to up my skillset to remain employable for the long term.

Pros
The benefits package is great. The environment is very relaxed and family-like. Everyone gets along great. Everyone is allowed to work very independently.
Cons
I can't think of any cons to working here. The cost of living in Blacksburg can be a bit more than normal rural areas. However, the cost of living decreases if you look 20 or 30 minutes outside of Blacksburg.
