Pros

Nice office, snacks, some nice colleagues

Cons

- Micromanagement : I complained about it since day one but it is so deep inside the company's culture that it just became worse. Seniors and management rest on juniors and won't help if you're overwhelmed with work or a little under the weather. - Fake diversity : all the foreigners (non US or UK citizens) that were in the company left within a year as management failed to comprehend what cultural difference means - Cult-like company : if you are not "fully vested" they will show you the door. By that it means answering to messages during the weekend, showing up early at the office even if there is no point to it. - Average salary and benefits : sure you have a monthly social that you HAVE to attend, sure you have free snacks BUT salary is not worth it, pension contribution is average. Overall it was a draining experience and I am glad I left when I did. It is a very toxic work environment

Pros

V supportive employers, and v focused on skill sharing (there's a lot to learn from them!!) Interesting clients Distinct and engaging company identity Lots of international teams Working with some of the loveliest, smartest people you will ever meet Actively support and seek out up-skilling and training opportunities for team members

Cons

It's less of a job, more of a lifestyle. If you are a die-hard financial services buff who keeps your finger on the pulse - then go for it! The London team and client roster were exceptional professionals. If you're not cut out for fast paced, then it might not be the place for you.

Pros

- The team is friendly (to an extent) - The occasional event with food and drinks included

Cons

- Constant feel of competition pressure between colleagues to have to do better than each other (not in a good way) - Extremely top heavy with seniors not willing to help pick up any workload and expect anything remotely admin to be handled by juniors - Expanding on the previous point, this prevented juniors from being able to excel in their role and go above and beyond and think creatively or strategically for their clients - The team was a lot of shouting of 'accomplishments' but when it came down to it, no one wanted to actually do the work - Cult-like environment - very uncomfortable - Everyone seemed fake and like no one liked each other
