Cons

The worst company especially if you are middle to old age they are very nice at first promise you everything 40 hours and never give it to you will put u on post and when a younger guard comes takes you off gives prefrontal to the younger generation also unfair and will not even think of you of a person very fast to discriminate and also will retaliate against you if you open your mouth about any issues also not take it nice when they find out a woman is pregnant right away look for any reason to fire you and disrespect and discriminate against you also have left ex employees with out thier pay after no reason for firing

Pros

Drive around town with company vehicle. Unlimited overtime with x1.5

Cons

One dollar more to supervise. Employees dont speak english, passed with friend who translates then thrown to shift. Overwhelmed with a lot of sites to check with little amount of employees to cover. Due to low pay rate at cloae to minimum wage of 13. Traditional sites there are about 30 to check, plus during Summer time the add over 100 temp sites APS. You are given a long list to check several guards - uniform, pick up reports, awake alert. There is no night shift differential . You are paid one dollar more than a sleeping guard. No nights off worked 7 days a week. They will force you to open a site at 4 am and then drive back to office by 10 am, then back to shift again at 6pm. During Summer times, Field Supervisors don't have a single night off due to shortages of employees to covering shifts. During summers they will put one guard 12 hours then relocate to other site to cover more hours until guard gets coverage from another guard. Guards will sleep onsite especially in Sedona, Flagstaff, and other sites that are harder to get to. APS doesn't know this tactics. Safety risks. OSHA violations with Restroom breaks, there no portable restroom at site sometimes have to drive 30 minutes to use restroom. Supervisor is suppose to relieve guard at site for restrooms. Sites don't have coverage. Safety risks. Multiple contract violations.
