Pros

- Culture: Victorious fosters real relationship bonds between coworkers. You go to work and you're surrounded by a lot of smart and competent individuals that care about their job. It's easier to do great work when people care and you're provided a space in which you can excel. There's lots of constructive criticism with no BS or sugar-coating on regular one-on-one meetings with managers which is very useful to continually strive to be a better "you". - Training: Amazing training with lots of avenues provided and encouraged to expand knowledge and skillsets. - Work: Always striving to do better work and improve the processes that are in place. Great "testing" mindset to try different things which is always great in the SEO space. - Industry Awards: Agency has been consistently winning more and more industry awards. - Promotion roadmap: Requirements for promotion were created to let you know exactly what you need to work on to continue growing. - PTO: Having the flexibility to take time off as needed relieves a lot of burdens. - Location: Very accessible if you drive. The office is right off the 101 so it takes me ~15 minutes to drive to work.

Cons

- Salary could be better. - Need more diversity. - Could do more team outings.

Pros

For me, the best thing about working at Victorious is that it's just a plain out fun place. The people here really care about each other, and you're not simply viewed as a "human resource". So many places will work you until you burn out, and Victorious has made a real commitment to NOT being that kind of workplace. You're valued for your working contributions, yes, but also for what you bring to the table as a human being. Work-life balance is a real thing here- yes, a lot of companies now have unlimited PTO, but you're discouraged from actually using it. Here, you are encouraged to take time off to travel, rest, and recharge. If you're looking for a place that will embrace the full picture of who you are as a person, encourage you to succeed and push past your goals, and allow you to laugh every day while growing as a person *and* an employee, Victorious might be the place for you.

Cons

With an open floor plan, it can get a little loud at times (but that's why we have the "phone booths" and 3 breakout rooms to have quiet time in!).

Pros

I am new to Victorious, but I am so impressed with everything I have seen so far. The people are AWESOME, the benefits are amazing, and I really couldn't be more excited to get onboarded! Even though we are remote, I feel very supported.

Cons

I do not have any cons to add, I will say it is a lot of information to learn, but that is just a part of starting a new job regardless! I am loving it!

Victorious Response

Hey there Reviewer - We really appreciate you sharing the positive experience you've had so far at Victorious! I know that, based on your review, it's early on, but we hope that we can continue to meet your evolving needs while the company itself continues to evolve and grow. You make a great point about the amount of information to learn in onboarding. It's not just how to do your role, but how to do SEO itself. We have all of our employees go through the same SEO training so everyone can be an expert - which means there's more information to digest and learn than a normal training program. We believe this creates empowered team members who have a new and valuable skill for their career, and we also welcome your feedback if there's any way we can train this material more efficiently or effectively. A big push recently at Victorious has been benefits expansion - doubling our company-mandated PTO days, adding 100% company-sponsored healthcare for employees and dependents, introducing wellness initiatives like reimbursement for online therapy/meal subscription services/gym memberships, etc. As someone who's newer to the team, we're eager to get feedback from you to make our benefits package holistic and valuable. As we talk about internally, we deeply value honest feedback as you continue your journey here - if you have ideas for improvement or growth, we want them. :) Thank you for being a part of our team!
