EXPLOITING THE LATIN AMERICAN PROFESSIONAL POWER

Pros

A cheap solution for Americans willing to work with exploited Latin Americans. They offer professionals as low as $8/hr.

Cons

Absurd undervaluing, massive bullshitters. They will pay you what they think is okay. Usually, 1/3 of what the market is offering per hour for similar positions. Even for senior positions, you won't get much more than $10, $12/hr. They are not empowering the Latinx community, they are EXPLOITING their own people to make a profit out of it. I know all the internal processes of the company, I can affirm is a well-built exploiting machine, and they get VERY mad when this type of information is leaked.

Pros

none. Just a fairy tale

Cons

1st: I believe that the necessary bureaucracy on this site is unnecessary. It's amazing how you turn something that should be simple, into something time-consuming and demotivating. 2nd: The layout is horrible. I can't even see what I wrote. to tell you the truth: it's humiliating for a person with certain knowledge to watch a step-by-step video like that. I believe you are looking for people one floor below who I am today. "receive in dollars", what a wonderful advertisement for underdeveloped countries.

Pros

Higher salary than most virtual assistant outsourcing agencies in Latin America Very organized system for job application, interviews and payment Plenty of job opportunities for skilled assistants Reasonable hours that you wouldn't find otherwise in Latin America Working from home

Cons

Everything is on their terms. You aren't quite an employee, and you aren't quite an independent contractor. But the pros outweigh the cons. Even though Virtual Latinos does not treat the assistants according to the US standard, despite being in the US, they still rank much higher than all the Latin American outsourcing companies that rob and exploit the employees.
