Pros

Understanding people & culture. Obsessed with feedback, value individuality.

Cons

Too much talking and not enough doing. So much conversation that no one knows what they're supposed to do. Not cutting edge creative or marketing. Feedback culture. Don't question or try to change what is happening.

A company that hired a great CEO just to be replaced by the worst

Pros

Unlimited PTO. Work from home.

Cons

False sense of security in any position at the company. Preach about being an open book for all levels of management, but they talk behind each other's backs constantly. They pretend to be caring and inclusive, but fail time after time. So many employees were terminated within a year. The old CEO was hired to grow the company and he was amazing. He left to take a new opportunity and the owner stepped back in as CEO. My how the experience and atmosphere changed. This is when every started to get let go left and right. A weekly email of "we regret to inform you".

Pros

Decent benefits and 401k matching

Cons

They take the cultish agency stereotype to another level. All in all lots of talk with no action. Tons of time spent talking about “innovation”, “disruption” etc. and doing exercises like writing haikus about ourselves, but the day to day work was nothing special or different than typical agency work. The culture that upper management imposes is insufferable -“feedback culture” is a thinly veiled method for stamping out opinions or personalities different from their own. Overall a very negative and stressful environment to work in underneath the polished surface you see as an applicant. Definitely better remote opportunities out there.
