      Pros

      Some wonderful staff, some turbulent staff - depends on when you work there. Opportunities for growth, but its transactional. If you're outspoken you won't move up.

      Cons

      very high turnover and favouritism. Very much a do as you told and don't make waves. feels like a boys club sometimes. Women weren't respected in higher positions. Didn't handle bullying/harassment adequately.

      I had the opportunity to grow with the company over 12 years, starting in the warehouse and moving into a director role — the growth potential is real if you're willing to lean in. The team culture was collaborative, fun, and felt like family. For those who are self-driven and open to challenge, Vitasave offers tons of opportunity and learning. Pay and benefits were fair for the industry and a start-up. The company was willing to pivot quickly for growth, which kept things fast-paced and forcing you to learn on the fly or adapt. The work kept me engaged and challenged, I never stopped learning. I made a lot of incredible memories and friendships along the way.

      Cons

      Like many fast-growing companies, there were times when roles stretched beyond their scope — if you’re not aligned with the long-term vision, that can feel overwhelming. No company is perfect; there were challenges and growing pains along the way. Some negative reviews from former staff were difficult to see, as I took personal responsibility for their experience and always tried to support and grow the team the best I could.
