Pros

They have snacks including drinks and fruit.

Cons

Voze is a great company to work for if your goal is to work for a living. I was once told, "If you're not willing to work for free, Voze is not the place for you." There's a lot of truth to that statement. The workload is constantly overwhelming, with months-long "death marches" of work that drain both your personal time and mental health. Expect to be put through grueling periods of stress with little to no recognition or compensation for the long hours. The management is completely out of touch with reality, showing little to no concern for the well-being of their employees. When things go wrong, they have a bad habit of pointing fingers at the development team, never taking any responsibility for their own decisions or lack of leadership. It’s a pattern of blame-shifting that creates an environment where the development team is left to pick up the pieces and carry the weight. To add to the toxic culture, favoritism is rampant. Certain employees get away with doing the bare minimum, while others are expected to constantly sacrifice their personal time to make up for the slack. It creates an incredibly frustrating atmosphere where you feel like no matter how hard you work, it never seems to matter. The pay is another huge downside. For all the long hours and stress, you're not compensated nearly enough for the work you’re doing. The salary doesn’t reflect the amount of work or responsibility expected of you, and raises are few and far between. To make matters worse, there’s an overall lack of transparency around pay, which only contributes to feelings of resentment among staff. On top of all this, in company meetings, there have been instances where customers are openly mocked. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority here, and the lack of professionalism only adds to the toxic culture. If you want to work in an environment where you're undervalued, overworked, and underpaid, Voze might be the place for you. But if you care about your mental health, work-life balance, or personal growth, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Pros

It's a startup environment. You'll learn a lot since they're always changing direction.

Cons

Very chaotic, high turnover of products and people, not a very fulfilling work environment. Also employees, including team leads talking shite about each other, found it pretty toxic

Pros

Unfortunately, there are no pros to mention. The company is severely mismanaged, and its future beyond fall of 2024 seems uncertain at best.

Cons

The management at this company lacks the qualities of effective leadership and inspiration. Their decision-making appears hasty and reactionary, leaving employees feeling disoriented. Instead of fostering genuine progress, they rely on superficial tactics, often citing Elon Musk quotes in a cringe-worthy manner. Despite preaching "extreme accountability," they fail to hold themselves to the same standard. It's evident that the management's primary goal is to position VOZE for a profitable sale to a larger company. Unfortunately, their detachment from reality is glaring—they lack a finished product to offer customers, relying instead on fabricated demos. This renders the service neither functional nor useful. Furthermore, the management dismisses valuable input from employees, showing a disregard for improving team functions. Their financial mismanagement leads to wasteful spending and, ultimately, mass layoffs, even impacting individuals who were contributing positively to the company's success. In summary, the management's actions reflect a profound disconnect from both employees and the company's goals, resulting in a toxic work environment and uncertain future prospects for VOZE.
