Pros

Free breakfast / drinks on a Friday and great Christmas/summer parties.

Cons

An exceptionally toxic and intimidating environment to work in. If you're not in the favoured clique of staff, you have no face-time with senior management... I'm sure none of them know who I am and I've certainly never been spoken to by any them. There is absolutely zero recognition, praise or appreciation for hard work. The same issues are flagged across the agency to managers and HR time and time again but nothing is done about it. The CEO is incapable of encouraging staff to work to the best of their ability - he storms around the office and never says hello, shouts profanities and bullies. Everyone is literally terrified of him, and I don't know how he has been allowed to get away with his behaviour for this long - it is categorically unacceptable. Pay and career progression are awful, and you are very rarely allowed to request an increase or promotion (unless you're within the clique, in which case you can expect promotions every six months). New starters leave within weeks and is often put down to how "some people can't handle the pace of the work" but in reality, it is just a fundamentally toxic place to work. I would strongly advise you to take these reviews into account before accepting a role at W. A large number of the positive reviews on here come from the interns who are actually made to write great things about the company, or come from HR themselves.

Pros

Nowhere will ever be as bad It'll look good on your CV Its near Oxford Circus

Cons

A poisonous, toxic company A business ruled by fear of the founder who is an unhinged, reckless, vile bully They don't care at all about the work or their staff The owner shouts and insults everyone from work experience to board directors You won't learn anything - the owner's hired a management team who don't anything other than how to avoid being shouted at by him The treatment of staff is an utter disgrace In summary: There is literally no reason to work here ahead of another PR agency.

Poor management, toxic environment, unprofessional ways of working

Pros

Free breakfast and Friday drinks

Cons

One of the worst companies I've worked at. Management make no effort to listen to concerns, those higher up the food chain speak to juniors in the most appalling manner, everyone is overworked and under valued and as a result the turn over of staff is enormous. Long hours are expected regardless of level and management will throw you under the bus for their mistakes. The place is a toxic mess where bullying is rewarded - stay well clear.
