Pros
The staff were fantastic super talented people who made it an amazing environment to work in. The work was also very engaging and working with the young people was absolutely inspiring. There was also a lot of opportunity to work in different areas of the company to expand on your skillset.
Cons
It kind of felt like despite being a youth empowerment charity they didn't want their speakers to be too outspoken as it tended to mean they were more open about their want for a better work environment. When faced with this peoples contracts tended to not get renewed which was pretty clear as to why and massively effected how the remaining team felt. Management generally seemed like they were doing their absolute best but maybe needed some extra support and training. Also there wasn't across the board treatment which meant that some staff members were treated better than other. Also while I was there HR was remotely working which just didn't work at all!
