Can get overwhelming but its a trade off to make to learn and grow. You're mostly on your own because high level executives will most likely manage you and don't have time to coach you. This is important to know for your next position based on your personality: are you looking for mentorship and guidance or looking to dive into work independently and grow from it. The latter is what this company mainly provides, there is little mentorship, which could be good or bad based on the person. For the position that I held, I think it was just the circumstances at the time that resulted in no mentorship. You won't find this position in the company anymore, so also look at other reviews from other developers.
