Some of the senior managers are so incompetent it beggars belief. I feel it is all about who can lick senior management's backsides and talk the most as to who gets the higher positions in this place. It's all about PR, which is why it doesn't surprise me that Wave is obsessed about entering awards for any reason going. I'm surprised Wave haven't put themselves forward for an award for having the best kettle! They say the right words, but when it comes to putting things into practice - like supporting staff's wellbeing - they fall way short of what they promise. The only award Wave should win is for having the best PR because it is nowhere near as good as they try to make it out.
