Pros

Work from home ability. Good PTO for tenure employees.

Cons

Poor communication during merger. No room for advancement. New positions are given to external candidates. Insurance benefits are poor and costly. Hard to take time off. Pay is not up to par with market. More workload without pay increase.

Pros

I worked at Webster Bank, as an employee and Manager. The atmosphere prior to 2014 was upbeat, and there were a lot of employees who have been there for a long time. Benefits were good, and the people were great.

Cons

The changes I spoke of began to filter in with some new folks at the top who came and began changing things to better the appearence to shareholders. This created conflict and some people left who had been there a long time.
