Pros
I really do not have words to describe how amazing the quality of Wickstrom Auto Group is, but I will do my best! Wickstrom is a company that TRULY cares for it's employees and not only wants to see them succeed but gives them the tools, steps, and guidance necessary to do so. They are 100% a family oriented business and have built their company on core values that nurture, support, and reward, not only their employees, but their families as well. They are a dealership that also cares a great deal about the community that they live in. The Wickstrom's are constantly using their business to help raise money for those in need and support things like our troops, local schools, and even other businesses in the community. Wickstrom has successfully broken every negative stereotype in the auto industry and they intentionally hire people that will help maintain that status. The people there know how to work hard for what they do and for their customers and it shows greatly. I got my first car from them when I was in high school and then started working there in college. I was able to move up the ladder until I was a full-time benefitted employee who was able to support my wife and myself solely on my salary alone. If you are looking for employment, know that taking a job at Wickstrom will NOT be easy, but it will be SO rewarding if you put in the hard work and trust that the people there have your back. They work on a team mentality there. I would not be who I am today if it weren't for the fine people at Wickstrom. I have learned so many valuable life lessons there and spent the last 5 years creating relationships that will last a lifetime. Wickstrom is a morally upstanding company and I am and will always be proud to have been a part of such an incredible team!!
Cons
I really, honestly cannot think of any negative things about working at Wickstrom. However, one should be aware that, as stated before, working for Wickstrom is NOT an easy job. The hours can be long at times but it is to be expected in the car industry. If you plan on working there I would advise that you have a healthy time management plan otherwise you can get burnt out quickly. All of that being said, if you show up, do your work, play nice with others, and have a good attitude, the benefits and rewards that this job offers 100% make the long hours and tough job worth it.
