Enjoyable job that often leaves you working for the next paycheck.

Pros

The job was exciting. New product was always a blast (when the company could afford it.) Zone manager made it enjoyable and communicated with everyone in a way that didn't seem abrasive.

Cons

The ever diminishing sales incentives make your paycheck suffer. The starting salary was considerably lower than most similar jobs. The ability to grow your paycheck was based on unrealistic calculated goals, rather than actually watching how the business was trending.

Pros

Working with very friendly and easy to get along with people. The schedule at this location has very flexible hours. There are good benefits right now with a very reputable insurance company. Wolf Camera sells some very nice cameras and equipment.

Cons

Wolf Camera does not sell Canon Products (Most Popular Camera Company) and will not sell their products any time in the near future. The hourly pay is not just bad but TERRIBLE. There is almost no opportunity for advancement. The store managers are not treated very well (even the ones that have been here 10+ years). They no longer match 401k contributions and have raised the price of health insurance significantly.

-Too easy not to get fired -Workers inside stores are generally good people. -Easy to get time off

Cons

-Once you get above a DM (and some DM's even), they have no clue whats going on in the stores. -Stress how imprtant it is to push loyalty programs that can crew the customer over if they don't use it. Nothing like losing 20 bucks if you don't use it for 2 months. -Sales Incentives continually go down. Used to make 10%, then 5%, now 2%?!
