Pretty much total autonomy on a day to day basis

Zero management engagement; weak senior management; high turnover of staff; dubious / ethical working practices when dealing with vulnerable clients; insulting remuneration and staff benefits; profit before everything else; awful IT systems; no scope for progression;

Awful firm

Pros

They are good to the clients

Cons

Absolutely horrific to work for. No progression, lazy management, clear favouritism. Targets are achievable but teams are often left without clear direction and picking up the slack for others who aren’t working efficiently.

Pros

The role itself was interesting and varied.

Cons

Awful line management, and HR are unsympathetic. Was bullied out of the role (along with many others who were also forced to leave). They don't have any sympathy towards physical or mental illnesses, and their line management style is designed to micro manage you and grind you down.
