A place for narcissists to thrive

Pros

-Paid online training - Met a few friendly and supportive peer colleagues but half of the people I met across the business are cynical

Cons

- Too many narcissists and bullies and their enablers across departments - Distracting environment with office dramas and politics - Mind games and manipulations are used for blame-shifting and gaslighting - Management with logical reasoning of a 5-year-old - Promotions and special treatments (WFH, flexible hours) are awarded by favouritism not merits and skills - Unrealistic and unreasonable expectations from management with zero support in technical, internal or external client management aspects - High turnover. Many left shortly after a year in the company - Marketed as a diverse company but not put into practice. Culture shaped around the loudest speakers in the room. Ways of working dictated by a small number of people who are often narcissistic and possess no real skills in the industry. - Silo work environment where one person is expected to do it all - Company values soft skills over hard skills. Higher pay for non-technical staff on the same level - Repeated mis-hire and staff not passing probation across the business - Hiring staff with no relevant education/ work experience to do technical work. Some even stayed long in the business despite poor performance but only if they’re white - The actual experience, opportunities, career prospects and support were very different to what was promised in the job interview - all the emails about valuing mental health is useless when the company is filled with people pressure you to work long hours and play mind games *if you’re not extroverted and white, mind games/ manipulations aren’t your thing, this is not the place for you. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values honesty and integrity.

Avoid! Bullying from management!

Pros

Internal smaller teams are great. Nice people who are collaborative and encouraging.

Cons

The management are corrupt. The level of bullying coming from the top is horrendous and appalling. It seems as though bullying is encouraged and maintained by a select group to control and dominate. It's common place to have managers hovering over your shoulder discussing your future within ear shot. Mind games are at work here to push you out so they dont have to fire you. It's uncanny to think they promote good mental health which in my view is a whitewash so they can continue to control and bully their employees. If you don't fit in for whatever reason you're out despite whether you're a valuable asset to the team. Please avoid this company at all costs to save your mental health and wellbeing.

Micromanaging, exploitative, hypocritical, toxic

Pros

Global company and "look" great

Cons

Management role criticising clients or colleagues behind their back. Critical decisions made mindlessly and recklessly, costing the business dearly but blaming others for their own fault. The higher up they are, the lower responsibility they take. Client's reviews also point out that WT only care about number of delivery, even if it is just rubbish delivered. Do not have any differential edge in the market. High staff turnover, high brain drain.
