Doesn't RecommendI worked at Xcite Automotive full-time for less than a year
Pros
Working pretty much alone. In good weather, it's good. In nad weather, it's horrible.
Cons
Local lead was a bully. No empathy what so ever a d was constantly calling and badgering. The job is VERY physical. Working hard is just fine, but pushing employees beyond thier limits, is cruel. You are totally exhausted at the end of the day and can't do anything, but shower and go to bed when done. You better be in your 30's, and full of energy to do this job. And the dealerships were ok, but the corporate people with the demands, have no idea what it's like in the field.

Pros
I got to drive some cool cars
Cons
Unbelievably bad work environment. Insurmountable work load is compounded by horrible management. Pay is also lower than advertised. I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone.

Pros
No pros! If I could give this company 0 stars I would!
Cons
Everything about this company is absolutely horrible, from management down to co-workers. Will work you like a slave, and never compensate you for the work you do. Do not work here! There are no career advancement opportunities, and everything they tell you is a lie. Most unprofessional company I have worked for, was treated really poorly. Co-workers talk about you behind your back and I would never go back to working for this company.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Xcite Automotive full-time for more than a year
Pros
No pros, just an endless list of cons and disappointment.
Cons
They milk you for all that you got and never compensate you. Everything they tell you is a lie. Everyone talks smack about everyone. And a lot of inappropriate behavior and sexual harassment that went under the table. Cannot believe they are still in business, what a horrid place to work at. I'd rather work at a fast food place the rest of my life with compassionate people than ever step foot in such a toxic work environment like Xcite. They are racists, sexists, and always have the urge for putting others down. Sucks how people get stuck working there thinking that anyone actually cares about their well-being... -10/10

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Xcite Automotive full-time for less than a year
Pros
Monday to Friday, very flexible.
Cons
No room for advancement. Working outside constantly.
Pros
You might shoot some cool cars once in a while
Cons
Everything, never get a raise, you actually do a lot and deal with a lot for the pay rate. You literally never become much more than your position and will be stuck there for years

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Xcite Automotive full-time
Pros
A. Many of your colleagues are actually good people, who are easy/great to work with B. They have some systems that are helpful: A sort of in- house Facebook and the Expensify system is easy to use C. Nice company equipment like a phone and the branded merch
Cons
A. VERY bad benefits package: over a 100$ PER paycheck for coverage as an individual and only 5 days PTO (generally unheard of) and poor rates for reimbursement as it pertains to per diem, public transport, etc. B. NO diversity whatsoever at the corporate level, the entire C-Suite is 30 to 40 something white men and women and/or people of color are only seen in support roles such as HR and accounting. Huge bummer. This does NOT include the actual owner of the company-- he and his family are truly a super nice people and is very hands-off, as it pertains to actual operations at the company, it seems. C. Terrible communication-- we get it, it's a tough time for everyone across the globe due to COVID but their communication surrounding the layoffs and resuming work was incredibly disingenuous and often late/delayed. Have you seen the outpouring of leaders on LinkedIn who are actively apologetic about laying off their workforce and proactively helping their former teams find connections, get new/more work, etc. Nothing of the sort from leadership at Xcite. I held these grievances prior to the layoffs and they were exacerbated by the way things were handled ie. VERY POORLY. D. Severely lacks basic organizational structure, protocols, onboarding processes, etc. How is it that there is no formalized training process for people who aren't photographers? No org chart, no hierarchy or performance management system. Seems like they're consistently going through a re-brand but the execution is not prioritized-- always waiting on access to something, to be trained on something, to engage in a roll out of some product or software. I could go on but I think these give you a good idea of the ubiquitous issues throughout the organization
