Pros

Yager is the kind of company that can be a good place for people who just kicked off their career and eager to learn, you'll find plenty of help.

Cons

from underestimation to lack of trust, unfortunately these cons still exist in the senior internals at Yager, it's easy to feel bullied by directors and even fellow employees, especially if you're shy or a foreigner. You have to be loud and aggressive to get your way, or you'll be stepped on.

Nice people. Nice environment to work in. Pretty skilled and passionate game developers.

Not ambitious enough vision. Short-term thinking.

Pros

- Very experienced people - Very clear career path (even though there are some weird things) - They are very central in Berlin - The office is nice (Awesome moss walls) - Even though over hours are included in the contract, after a certain amount of them, employees get certain benefits from it

Cons

- Communication is lacking between teams, between different departments, and most importantly between leadership - The company shows little to no sign of adapting to the current industry standards in processes and company benefits - The company culture is not very open and because people have been working for so long in the company, pockets are created in which people have a really hard time getting in - The benefits are ok, but not industry standards anymore. There is no Christmas bonus nor any kind of other bonuses - The learning and development process is very unclear and non-transparent - HR shows a lack of interest in changing old processes - The company requires or uses Employee Representatives to get feedback to the higher-ups which make every problem more political and less transparent - Over hours are included in the contract when you are a senior
