Pros
A chance to flex your creativity with likeminded individuals, both with students and other creative colleagues. Tutors and Team Leaders are great and very supportive.
Cons
Pay rates are some of the lowest of all private tertiary institutes in the country. Upper management focuses on student successes by setting unrealistic targets for attendance and qualification completion that they expect tutors to meet without giving tutors the support to achieve this. This results in a very high staff turnover and low morale. They don't support unions and actively try to discourage tutors from joining by not informing them of the full process to sign on and by harassing union members.
