The team at ZG are truly special, everyone is super kind and very aligned on our motivations towards the company's mission. Managers have a great amount of trust, giving the freedom to self-motivate while being supportive when needed. The work-life balance is great so far in my role.
Everyone is lovely
Great mission, culture and values
Encouraged development and learning
Great work/life balance
Regular socials
Transparency from leadership about the direction of the company and big decisions
Every day I feel encouraged to do good work and feel like I'm making a contribution to a really valuable mission
Cons
Nothing really! If I really had to think of one, it's just that working in a start up can sometimes feel less secure/more unpredictable than being in a bigger, more established company.
Zero Gravity really is the definition of a mission-focussed organisation, with every colleague and business decision being focussed purely on levelling the playing field for opportunity in the UK.
The culture is great too, with amazing mission-aligned colleagues and a great atmosphere of trust.
Cons
As it is a small tech start-up, it's a company for someone keen to be self-driven and a self-starter. There's plenty of help and training available for you, but in a less structured way than at larger companies.
