this company is managed very poorly. bill is the only general mgr, and abuses that power heavily. he hires anyone, but promotes illegally. some newcomers have negotiated a starting higher pay raise as have others, but bill will not accept all pitches on qualified, equal footing. you get paid more if you are a MALE AT ZIFTY. you get more acceptance, and management has your back moreso if you are gay or black. employees who have been working at zifty for at least a year, still do not get treated with overall equality as the ones who are in bill's inner social circle- aka the employees who sit behind the desk, wowtown employees and friends/lovers of these people at zifty. discrimination is an understatement. and todd, the owner- knows well of such illegal activity and keeps quiet about it.
